Melody Player 4.2.0

A nice player for Midi files. Above all, it has EXCELLENT sound quality! :-))) Much better than QT 4! With this player, Midi listening becomes close to the real song! :-D I suggest to download the Extended Sound Database (1,3MB), although the basic version included into Player download is quite good. Alas, I had some hard freezes (perhaps on some bad Midi files), and I find the interface too poor: no progress bar, no pause, no indicators anyhow... just the volume slider. One star less for freezes; one star less for poor interface.

The interface gives me a retro vibe...suits the music I play on it. It does its job but its annoying not to be able to add more then one file at once, I want drag&drop support!

A bad look look, but a disk image? DMGs are annoying and don´t show any benefit. A SIT archive is fine. But the app does what they promised, thus at least 3 stars.

this is a very ugly OSX app. Actually, it looks horrible on any platform. It gets 5 points for play quality but at least -3 for the interface. Seriously, it's that bad.

Honestly, this is a pretty terrible OS X app. No icon on the installer, an installer instead of a disc image, no icon on the application, lousy interface, the icon in the dock looks terrible. however, it does play midi much better then anything else i've tried, so three points for that.
