The reason I bought it was to take a large number of bonds from the PC's Savings Bond Wizard and be able to easily update them into Quicken on the Mac. Using the Treasury's calculator's great for a few items as reported, but it's completely impractical for larger numbers, hence the value of Savings Bond Tracker.

As a working director in the commercial industry I have found this to be the only software that really does what I need. Again this newest upgrade only makes this product more useful. The developer is fast to respond and has added features that I've requested. Being built on the solid foundation of Filemaker allows me to use the software on my Mac as a stand alone and on Windows machines that have FileMaker with no difference in the way it works.

This app really does address the void of useful softeware in this industry. Built off of Filemaker does ensure a level of stability and cross platform user experience. If you are familiar with Filemaker then learning this app is a snap. And if not, just a little extra time and you will have things falling into place nicely. The developer does seem very interested in users feedback and takes suggestions seriously. Which is rare these days. It IS worth checking out.

Sometimes it seems to be buggy in 10.3. When I first started playing this game, it worked great and was tons of fun. But would occationally crash. Over time, it has gotten to the point where it constantly crashes and I cannot play it any more. I think it might coinside with me installing drivers for the iShockII. It seemed to happen at about the same time. Did I mention the graphics on this game looks awesome?

Okay, I'm sure this is a good program for the price, but this is a big peeve of mine: To the programmers: time the trial period, if you want, but don't disable something as fundamental as time signature. Sure I'm frustrated because I suddenly needed software for music notation, quickly, only the song happened to be in 3/4. Can't do it.

And I am someone who does pay for shareware. But if the shareware is downright antagonistic when I'm trying it out (I keep bumping into "you have to register to use this feature") I tend to get so annoyed I'm not inclined to ever use the thing, or recommend it again.

So be warned. I feel like I wasted my time with this program. Programmers, have a litte more faith in people, or don't be in the shareware business.

know I don't get close to using all the abilities of this software ... but for rehearsing choral works, it's superb. Working with public domain midi files, you can isolate or emphasise particular voices (and slow it all down for the trickiest passages), see the score onscreen as it plays ... with the option of exporting to mp3 to singalong and rehearse with in-car (or on-bike!) iPod. We use it in two of the choirs I sing with, and it helps me (and others!) enormously! For the price of a couple of those choral tutor tapes, you've got the ability to create endless personalised versions to help you learn the notes (especially useful if you're pretty slow to pick out your notes on the piano!) ... I'd have to say the interface can be confusing (so many options, and different windows - some of the less computer-literate singers are frightened away) and it doesn't look very pretty ... but then neither do I!

Promised. I scan a piece of sheet music and OMeR reads it amazingly well and converts it directly into Melody Assistant. Good job.

I found this app to just go into an endless loop after three retries no matter what email address I gave. And because of the built in rules, any hotmail or AOL address just automatically says it's good. It has a nice interface - simple and easy to navigate, but it also lacks simple keyboard control. Example: after typing in an address, you want to hit the Return or Enter key to start the search but no go. You have to hit Apple+K or click Verify to start or Hit ESC to stop a search but you have click the Cancel button.

It's nice idea with a clean interface and has potential, but currently this goes nowhere.

I bought MaxBulk Mailer a few days ago.

Yesterday, I used it to send out 19,700 emails for a conference. I then sent out the 19+K (took about 7 hours which seems OK to me as I don't want to press my ISP's mail server too hard) emails. This software is very reasonably priced. It works. I recommend it.

I am the moderater for several diffrent mailing lists that users have signed up for. Over time many people change email addresses but don't update their subcriptions. This tool has helped me extract email names from hundreds of undeliverable emails within minutes.

If you want to clean up your list this is a quick and easy way to do it.
