Inexpensive and works great (Max Bulk E-mailer and its other programs)

Use it for newsletters for members of a group that subscribes (no spam here) and it has worked flawlessly for us.

I have used this software for a couple of months now and I have watched it mature. I am quite pleased that this app is providing so many programming options. It gives me the options to revert but to the plain old CLI, too. It helps keep me and my clients organized as it helps retain names, IPs and passwords. I'll be using this app for a very long time.

These people still don't know how to write Mac software. First of all, they now call this "myGrokker", with a new icon so you can't recognize it from the last version. When you go to install it, you don't get to upgrade your old install, even if you install the new version to the same directory. When you do install, you get a Grokker icon (what happened to the name "myGrokker" now?) and a bunch of junk dumped in the same directory that you installed to... Disappointed. Could be a good app.

Great application despite lack of cross-platform compatibility. This program is especially great for a small company when communication is key for updating client needs. Plus it keeps the information in house and fast.

Yes, it can be complex to use, but stick with it, and you'll be rewarded. The main competition is to get a Windoze box and use WebPositionGold, which I did for a year or so in Virtual PC. Talk about bad interface. Really, the elegance of this program -- running daily in faceless mode for example, so I don't have to keep it running or anything - is greatly appreciated.

The only thing I think could be added is a way to track your PR (if that can be done on the Mac at all), as well as backlinks, since watching them go up and down is part of doing serious SEO.

This product provides a convenient listing window of stations and transparently uses the QuickTime, RealPlayer and Windows Media Player plugins to play what you select, while staying in that same window.

This suite of Filemaker Pro templates is getting a bit better. There are still major problems with it's functionality. The developer has a good idea, he just needs to find himself an OSX programmer and write it in native code. It would cost a bit but it would make this 'app' absuolutely indespensible. There are still problems with saving, the display, the print dialogue box,etc.

Harmony Assistant is easy to use. Once you set up the tools you need most, you can move them around for easy use. The interface is simple and allows the custom setup. I started using Harmony Assistant a year ago. The interface is intuitive and only a bare minimum of the great manual is needed. Harmony Assistant allowed me to write and arrange 22 bebop tunes and burn to 3 CDs in 11 months without touching any instrument. This looks like a good teaching tool too. The only software close to Harmony Assistant costs $$$. This utility for music production should have been a part of Garage Band instead of the crippled virtual keyboard in GB. Harmony Assistant exports AIFF files that are easy to drag and drop into GB. The printouts of the scores are great. Some of the instrument sounds of Gold database such as the sax can be improved by adding a slight reverb with the sound effects of Harmony Assistant. The authors are very responsive and helpful for tech support.

If you're a serious graphic designer this program is awesome. If you make your living using fonts and setting a lot of type CharView is worth it's weight in gold. The Built in OSX Character Palette is unbelivablly cumbersome. It doesn't show you the Key combination for any of the characters displayed and it's deadly slow.

If you use apps that have a bad Mac integration, Quickeys is a "must have". For instance the German App "Office Bibliothek", a very powerful dictionary (Duden, Brockhaus etc) has nothing. No shortcuts, no services, no context menu. It even doesn't mark the search entry if launched. With Quickeys you can get a full workflow integration with one shortcut.

Next example is the finder-preview. A lot of AVIs block the finder if clicked. It is not possible to activate or deactivate the finder-preview via shortcut. With Quickeys it is, and it is fast.
