Hi there,
Thank you for sharing this one, but the Adobe Zii included says “This product is not supported”.

Forget it.
I fixed it with a reinstalling of the previous version and no Zii, then a reinstalling of this one and a Zii.
Acrobat is now working well.

It works fine for me, maybe its the issue with the older install in your system? I updated the instructions just in case issues crop up after the last update.

I am really sorry for having bothering you.
I don’t know exactly what wen wrong.
The only thing I know is that I was able to have this version working well after a reinstall of the previous one, avoiding the Zii passage, then an install of this one, with obviously a Zii passage.
Maybe is not related to the Zii 6.0.9 at all.

Although I cannot fully confirm it, but as of the previous version, I suspect it checks for the integrity of the installed programme (that is, if everything is still intact as per the original install).
However, using the patching method I originally posted, there is a missing file (the one deleted in order to stop updates), hence the installation will sort of fail so to speak and lead to the patching not working out.
The new method is to back up the file so that it would work out at every update, but I have yet to find out any new easier ways around it. As of this update I did not have to place the file back so I am not too sure either if the check is at every update.
That being said, there is also another possibility, where the updater itself got a patch last update(hence it only broke in the last update), which would explain the issue better, but I don’t know.
But at any rate if anything crops up the best way is to do a clean installation of the newest version and remove the updater as per original instructions.

its not working …
a pop-up comes when open EDIT PDF… it say for subscribe.
i always update your new version but its still here.

hey, it’s running fine for me but i can’t find pdf printer in indesign etc. – also not in the printer settings! anyone has a clue?

I have the problem with th installiation after the original version, it says the program cannot be installed because there’s another Acrobat updated version, so, there’s a way for a clear unistall method?
